Parents: We're postponing until June 2019 - details to come :)

Hey there, fellow adventurer! We're glad you're here.

We're excited to tell you all about our 2019 retreat!

The bottom line: Join us June 14th - 21st, 2019 in the south of France.

It's been quite a couple of years, hasn't it?

There's so much good in the world, but it sure feels like it's hard to find it sometimes. 2017 has been a challenging year, and, let's face it, 2016 was no picnic, either. And who knows what 2018 has in store? Whatever the new year holds, it's sure to be complicated.

What would you feel like if you made a commitment to yourself to connect with a group of people in a deep, important way, and that you'll do it in an atmosphere of creativity, fulfillment and joy?

With uncertainty as the backdrop of our days, it's a challenge to find the energy to take care of ourselves, or to dedicate time to self-development and self care. How can you, when there seems to be emergencies everywhere, every day? But there's a price to pay for living your life in fight-or-flight mode, and you pay it with your well-being and your peace of mind.

If you're like us, you're ready to stop reacting to the daily dose of dread and uncertainty, and are looking for a new, more productive approach to dealing with stress and frustration. Happily, we have a plan, and we're putting it into action! It's all about turning inward, and developing the power you need to shine your light outward.

The strength of your inward turn determines the strength of your outward turn.

It's a cliché for a reason: You should put on your own oxygen mask before you help others. If you're off balance, and living life from crisis to crisis, turn inward. If you're looking for connection and meaning, turn inward. If you're exhausted and discouraged, turn inward. Tend to yourself, and do it with dedication. Then, fortified and refreshed, turn outward with power, depth and resilience.

Join us in France for a week of connection and exploration.

Be inspired by people who are living a life lots of people would consider impossible. Find out what it feels like to take a step away from the chaos and focus on yourself. Let the turbulent waters of your life calm, so that you can see your reflection in the surface. What does it look like? What can you experience when you're being authentically you, and acting from a place of strength and self-knowledge?

To do this, we've designed a retreat that allows you the space to look inward, the time to appreciate beauty, and the room to relax into unstructured afternoons and lazy mornings. We will offer you the opportunity to explore things that might be new to you, or to instead go your own way and make your own discoveries. We'll be...

...sleeping under the stars in the south of France

...getting cozy in furnished yurts and bell tents

...swimming in a cool stream after a bit of morning yoga

...establishing an easy meditation practice

...sipping French wine around a bonfire

...doing transformative guided journaling exercises

...kayaking under a gorgeous Roman aqueduct (that’s also a UNESCO World Heritage site)

...learning how to bake artisan bread and make homemade mustard

And, to end the week with a personal challenge, we'll be walking a high wire

with world-renowned acrobats—a high-wire artist and a stunt performer.

Yes! End your week by showing yourself what impossible feels like.

Our 2019 Gather Retreat will help you develop your strong inward turn so you can face life like the self-assured badass you are.

The button below will take you to our retreat questionnaire, which is fun and quick and lets us know how to best nail down some details on our time together. Completing the questionnaire also gets you smack dap onto our email list, which is great, since that way you'll stay informed and excited. (Do let us know if you'd prefer not to receive Gather emails.)

A little bit about us:

We're Gather Workshops & Retreats. We design and facilitate unforgettable trips &

creative learning experiences for curious people, like you!

Gather is a collaboration between a group of friends who have a common interest in bringing people together for shared, joyful experiences. We choose a handful of locations every year, and design a retreat or workshop that reflects the surroundings, resources and advantages of each. We look for truly unique experiences, and build our retreats around them, adding fulfilling, grounding, fun and meaningful activities, along with plenty of time for you to just chill out and take it all in.

Each retreat will be lead by creative, friendly people who are pleased to share their knowledge, to help you learn new skills, and to provide you with amazing new stories and memories. We believe that the energy and connection created when a group of people live, work and learn together is one of the most powerful and life-changing forces in the world, and we are dedicated to making all of our guests experience this sense of excitement and belonging.

Join us for our rural retreat in Occitanie, a gorgeous region in southern France

June 14th - 21st, 2019

Your Mas Pinet hosts, Jade and Karine, in their natural habitat. You'll be in good hands—and plenty of safety equipment!

This could be you!

Yup, we’ll be in the south of France, enjoying a rustic, laid back 6 days and 5 nights at Mas Pinet, a 300-year old home on 25 acres of French countryside. We have room for 15 people, so it will be a close-knit group. We’re designing an experience you’ll remember forever—art, the outdoors, music, great food and amazing conversations.

But you won’t be busy!

That’s rather the point. You’ll have plenty of time to make friends with a chicken, take a walk with the dogs, or read a book with one of the cats. Perhaps you’ll want to wander down to the stream and journal in the sunshine. Or, we can pack you up a picnic, and you can explore this beautiful property on your own. Just remember to bring your swimming suit, comfy clothes and hiking boots - this French experience is a long way from Paris!

All of us at Gather truly believe that in order to tackle the challenges of a modern, busy life, we all need to take deliberate, thoughtful breaks to re-center, inspire and recharge. We'll take you out of your everyday experience by arranging six days that are 100%  focused on your fulfillment, all while making new friends and enjoying all the treasures this beautiful region has to offer.

See you in France!

Yoga, Mindfulness & Journaling

Though we'll be enjoying a lot of unstructured time, and a selection of exciting activities, we'll also dedicate a part of every day to turning inward.

We invite you to join us for daily yoga, with a short meditation session afterwards. We'll also be making space for you to do some guided journaling, as well as leaving you plenty of time to document your retreat experience in your own way.

Slowing down and taking the time to hand write an daily inward inquiry might be a new experience for some of you. We invite you to approach this with curiosity, and to be open to seeing what develops. Our hope is that you'll get even more out of your stay at Mas Pinet by taking this time to explore, and to be present in the experience. So often we hurry through our days. We'd like this to be your chance to take a step back, and to really see and feel the world around you.
